where tech, knowledge and passion come together.
The European Hyperloop Center (EHC) follows the open innovation principles and consists of a test facility and knowledge center, located in Groningen, the Netherlands. This facility will be home to developers from around the world to test and validate their hyperloop technologies. It is a place where high–tech companies, industry, and science are working together on the development of the Hyperloop, the sustainable transportation system of the future.

Test Center
The EHC houses a 420m test track, to test and demonstrate hyperloop technologies & hyperloop-associated technologies.
Learning Center
The EHC will facilitate public and private parties to work together on research and development, and serve as a basis for developing common industry safety standards.

What is Hyperloop.
Hyperloop is a new mode of transportation in which vehicles travel autonomously through a network of low-pressure tubes. Every trip is direct from any origin to any destination in the network without intermediate stops. It offers lower total cost of ownership, faster prefab installation, lower energy usage and emissions, easier integration into the environment, and higher transport capacity. Whereas as a trip from Amsterdam to Berlin would take 7 hours by car or rail, and 3 hours by air, including the waiting times, check-in, etc., hyperloop provides trip times within an hour.
